Expiration Date Field, Reservation Entry Table
Specifies the expiration date of the lot or serial number on the item tracking line.
The expiration date is the last date that the item on the line can be used. An expiration date is mainly used for perishable items, such as produce that is not useable after a certain date.
In the Item Tracking Lines window, the program automatically fills in this field if an expiration date has already been defined for the lot or serial number in the line. In this case, the field is grey and not editable. This field is also not editable if the transaction is an outbound transaction, meaning a transaction that takes items out of inventory, such as a sales order or an outbound transfer order.
