Invoiced Quantity Field, Value Entry Table
Specifies how many units of the item are invoiced by the invoice posting that the value entry line represents.
Each partial invoice posting is represented by one value entry line.
The value(s) in this field are summed in the Invoiced Quantity field on the item ledger entry that is related to the value entries. For more information, see Invoiced Quantity.
The Invoiced Quantity field plays an important role in inventory valuation. The Inventory Value report sums this field to reflect the invoiced quantity that the value represents. This quantity may be different than the actual inventory quantity, because items that are received or shipped may not be invoiced yet.
