Business value
Makers in Microsoft Power Platform are now able to make model-driven Power Apps for Finance and Operations entities without having to copy data between Finance and Operations and Common Data Service. This enables a rich set of scenarios where Finance and Operations data can be used in Power Apps and all of the Microsoft Power Platform with full create, update, and delete functionality.
Feature details
All OData entities in Finance and Operations apps are available as virtual entities in Common Data Service and Microsoft Power Platform. Makers can build experiences in applications such as Sales, Marketing, and Customer Engagement using data directly from Finance and Operations apps. This means that you can use create, read, update, and delete capabilities from Common Data Service and Microsoft Power Platform. Power Apps portals can then be used to build external-facing websites to enable collaboration of business processes in Finance and Operations apps.
