| Unassigned | 1 | Device has not yet come on-line |
| Assigning | 2 | Device has connected to the DRS but IoT Hub ID has not yet been returned to the device |
| Assigned | 3 | DRS successfully returned a device ID and connection string to the device |
| Failed | 4 | Device enrollment failed |
| Disabled | 5 | Device is disabled |
