使用此类时，ECMA 国际标准 ECMA-376 中的以下信息可能很有用。
指定是按从右到左还是从左到右的顺序使用列。 此属性的使用仅设置用于确定下一列溢出文本应转到的列顺序。 如果省略此属性，则隐含值 0（即 off），在这种情况下，文本将从最左侧的列中开始并流向右侧。
此属性决不能确定文本的方向，而只决定使用多个列的方向。
此属性的可能值由 XML 架构 boolean 数据类型定义。
