TFS 2010 : Setting permission for a Branch
It is easy to set permission to a Branch for developers. This would allow us to ensure the activities they would be doing on that Branch like Merging, Unlocking, Undo Checkout etc.
Right click on a branch and go to properties,
TFS 2010 Source control rocks.

How can I do it in TFS 2012, because it seems like the tab permission is not in this version.Anonymous

I struggled with the Contributors branch who where actively locked for check-in and check-out. When I tried to move the selection from "deny" to "allow", the permissions was updated back to "deny" again (when reopen permissions). Better: Unselect "deny" and the inherit-function did the rest. /Stig
