DWWTWT?: June 29
There's a local saying in the Puget Sound area that the true start of summer is July 5th. For the first five years of my residency here, that old saw largely held true. This year, however, summer actually arrived pretty much on time. Another old saw says "make hay while the sun shines," which we'll translate for our purposes to "walk to work while the sun shines."
Yep, we've got four days' worth of walking in a row (a new record), and a decent chance to sweep the week tomorrow:
Walked: 7
Drove: 7
To co-opt another old saw, this one from baseball: ties go to the walker.
Tune in tomorrow to see if we can sweep the week!
