I can essentially rerun yesterday's post unedited; despite plans after work, today I executed a "short walking commute" through a light rain:

The weather went through four distinct phases in my 1.4 mile walk this morning. It was calm when I left the house; then I walked through a deluge; then it was calm again; finally, about 300 yards from work, a major wind came up in my face. A pretty diverse 20 minutes there. 

Still no Christmas lights.. stay tuned..
