DWWTWT?: August 4

There's nothing quite as beautiful as summer in the Pacific Northwest. Another crisp morning followed by an 80 degree afternoon:

Today was a wonderful day; Gale, Kyle, and Alex joined me for the IT Summer Picnic on the Microsoft campus this afternoon. The kids had a great time, and I managed to come in second place in the Texas Hold 'Em tournament (I was the big stack until I got blindsided by pocket sixes). Zach returns tomorrow from the sweltering East Coast.

The DWWTWT experiment has been going on for eight weeks now. While we're not setting any traffic records (it is a hidden feed, after all), enough of you are finding it that I think we'll keep it up.

Have a great weekend! Happy birthday to Brian Vessa, the drummer in my old band in L.A. and a good friend (Saturday), and, well.. me (Sunday).
