The April 2008 issue of TechNet Magazine is available online, offering a host of information about SQL Server 2008. Randy Dyess kicks things off with an overview of what's new in SQL Server 2008. We then dive into changes to security, new data types, and enhancements to data warehouse query performance. Finally, Cherié Warren discusses minimizing blocking in SQL Server (both 2008 and 2005).
