New MSDN forum on Disaster Recovery and Availability

It's quite evident now that there's a growing need for a focused forum around disaster recovery and availability so I'm pleased to announce that we've created one (https://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/ShowForum.aspx?ForumID=744&SiteID=1)

I've brought together the experts in the Storage Engine on:

  • DBCC usage and strategy
  • CHECKDB results interpretation
  • backup/restore usage and strategy
  • diagnosing and recovering from hardware issues
  • planning/executing a disaster recovery and/or high-availability strategy, including choosing technologies to use

and we're looking forward to answering all your questions and giving advice.

Hope to see you there!
