We’re hosting a full-day Silverlight event at Microsoft in early May: Building Rich Internet Applications with Silverlight

When: 4 May 2010, 8:30am-5pm

Costs: None, but first-come-first served

Format: Typical presentation style (not hands-on labs)

Audience: This event is aimed mainly developers, but designers interested in Silverlight application development will find it a very useful introduction.

It’s for those that are relatively new to Silverlight, or those who are looking at understanding the Silverlight platform better.

Description: In this full day event, learn the skills necessary to create powerful Silverlight applications. We start with basic platform capabilities and tools, and show how to build rich internet applications. Topics covered include layout, controls, styles, networking, working with data, animation, business applications and out-of-browser support.
