I'm happy that there is at least one Regional Director that is fighting the good fight for Visual C++, Kate Gregory.  I first noticed Kate when I happened upon her Grok Talk.  Whenever anyone asked me what was cool about VC++ in Whidbey, I'd just point them to this link.

She has also written a few books about Visual C++.  Hey Kate, is there a book coming from you about VC++ 2005 or C++/CLI?
