The Ignite Keynote Speakers are Something to Talk About!

Are you ready to be inspired, entertained and amazed by world-renowned experts in tech design, engineering and animation? Microsoft NZ has unveiled an impressive line-up off speakers to kick off the Ignite NZ conference in September, including one of the world’s top technology designers from Microsoft, and a leader in film animation from Pixar/Disney Animation Studios. The Ignite NZ keynote speaker line-up includes Joe Belfiore, Microsoft’s Corporate Vice President for PC, Tablet and Phone. Joe Belfiore is one of Microsoft’s most impressive presenters, and will share his vision for how Microsoft is making computing more personal. Joe will be joined on stage at the keynote by Distinguished Engineer Laura Butler, a motivating Microsoft veteran who started her career as an intern on Word for Windows 1.0. Laura now has no less than 10 patents to her name, and is renowned in the industry as an inspiring leader whose moto is: “If it’s not fun, you’re doing wrong.” Also appearing at the Ignite NZ keynote is Chris Ford from Pixar/Disney Animation Studios. Chris is the ‘real deal’ when it comes to computer generated images, and is one of the masterminds behind the film industry’s most stunning visually enhanced images. He has worked with some of the world’s top studios and is credited in ten feature films. Rounding out the Ignite NZ keynote line-up is James Staten, a well-known former Forrester cloud computing analyst who is now the General Manager of Strategy for Microsoft’s Cloud and Enterprise Division. James has spent more than 25 years in enterprise technology, delivered numerous keynotes and taught as a lecturer at leading business schools.
