Monday, Tuesday, Learn-day

Welcome! We hope you like the new look of the Flash. There has been a lot of new announcements from our side recently. It can be hard to take the time to familiarise yourself with the latest news, and then to stay up to date! As a dev this is critical though. Sometimes it may seem like you leave your desk and a new product, tool or update is available when you get back. So, how do the best Kiwi devs keep up? Research shows that your productivity is massacred when you multi-task. You need to set aside a chunk of time when you have a lot to skill up on, or you want to master something new. One of the best ways is to block out a day and attend one of our Microsoft Developer Web Camps. These Dev Camps are hosted by a Microsoft Expert, are hands-on, and free! So pick a day out of your calendar and dive into a full day of focused learning. Taking a full day out of your work week can be tricky sometimes. If you’ve been following the news from //build/ 2015, or you’ve heard whispers, you’ll be pleased to know that the ground breaking announcements from the US conference will be delivered in person by some of the original speakers in Auckland on Saturday 30 May at //build/ Auckland. For free. There are still some spaces available – so get in and save your seat now. Here’s to those days when you stretch your legs out of the office and stretch your brain out of its regular routine. Connect with us anytime for the latest events and learning resources.
