Calling All Java Developers!

World: Are you a student?
Student: Yes.

World: Do you know Java?
Student: Must I really admit that?

World: So we get the hint…

If you know Java and would like to get into .NET, specifically C#, there is a great article on MSDN called, The C# Programming Language for Java Developers. This is an excellent article that talks about the similarities and differences between the languages in order to help current Java developers grasp the migration path to .NET.

C# for Java Developers is also an excellent book this topic published by Microsoft Press.

I personally think that J# is also another excellent option for Java developers interested in .NET, though the post was designed to highlight the C# article.

    Thus I didn't discuss much about J#.

Ah ok - I was just wondering why you want students who know Java to get into C# :)
