Business Contact Manager to Microsoft CRM
One of the cool things coming for Microsoft CRM 3.0, is the ability to be able to import data from Business Contact Manager directly into Microsoft CRM. It is being designed to run on our Small Business Edition, but should run on the Professional Edition as well. (We are only testing it on the single SQL Server model.) It won't be locked down to just SBE, so it _should_ work on Professional as well. (Your results may vary. [:P]) This should make your job of upgrading customers from BCM to CRM that much easier.

I tried to import data from BCM 2007 into CRM 3.0 Pro but was unable to. I got a message saying that the specified file is not from outlook with BCM version 2.0!!! Is there any way to import data from BCM 07 into CRM 3.0 ? Thanks, SteveAnonymous

This seems to be a problem. Looks like CRM 3 migration doesn't support the schema used in BCM 2007. Looks like the only way is to use the full Data Migration Framework - but it's a bit of beast compared to the BCM migration wizard.Anonymous
