#3 - Create P2S VPN Gateway

To enable the Cross-Premises communication for the P2S VPN we'll now have to setup its Gateway.

This post guides you through those steps.

   

To create the Gateway, login to the Windows Azure Management Portal.

   

After you have selected Virtual Networks > p2s-network-1 > Dashboard.

   

Click + Create Gateway on the bottom ribbon:

   

   

Click Yes to create the Gateway:

   

   

You should then be able to see the "Creating Gateway" message on the virtual network:

   

   

   

Note: Allow around 30 minutes for Windows Azure to create the Gateway.

   

In the meantime you can proceed to part #4:
