So I decided to take the advice people mentioned in the previous post, and my laptop is now happily running Vista - I get a WEX score of 3.0 based on the video perf (expected), other than the video, the machine gets a 4.4, and I'm a very happy camper.

Thanks to everyone who suggested solutions.

    Can you tell us why the video is giving you a score of 3.0. Is it because of NVIDIA GPU you have? How much is the memory in the GPU?

    If you go to nvidia site and listen to their podcasts, they have already said that the drivers which are unisgned are the ones that are in the beta/testing stages.They would sign them before releasing to public the final version because driver signing is not such a simple process. Also nobody these days care about asking people to pay for drivers. They are busy trying to sell and make profits out of their hardware and they will bundle or make any software available to make the hardware easy to use.
