Windows Live Folders has been re-branded Windows Live SkyDrive. Cool name, cool service. You get (free) 500 MB of password-protected (with Live ID) online file storage, available from any computer with Internet access. You create personal, shared, and public folders and assign access rights to each folder –- just you, just your friends, the whole world. SkyDrive works on both PC and Macs (IE 6 or higher, Firefox 1.5 or higher). All traffic is encrypted via SSL. It supports drag and drop of files, which I use to upload and store my photos and video on Twango and love. Nice thumbnails of image files! Hmmm… Live is really starting to crank!
