Tech Preview now available!

Wahoo!  As I had previously discussed, the first Technology Preview for Whidbey became available this week.

We will have a lot to learn about the whole process here - collecting & responding to feedback, delivering releases, etc.  So, it makes sense that the initial audience is somewhat limited (MSDN Subscribers + VSLive attendees).

As Grant mentions, there are going to be a bunch of bugs in the preview.  That's because we basically picked a day and said “we're shipping what we have today“.  We fixed just a handful of bugs across the entire product.  (To give you some perspective: there was a trivial bug in the setup that disabled all the C# refactorings.  We had to push pretty hard to get it fxed in the preview.)

I'm not sure how long it'll be until the next Tech Preview comes along.

I hope that in time we'll broaden audiences, increase product quality in Tech Preview drops, and deliver them increasingly often.

Thanks for the announcement! I'm downloading from MSDN now and getting ready to "geek out" this weekend. :-)
