NUnit Converter V0.2 is on GotDotNet

I have posted an early version (0.2) of a conversion program. The program converts C# NUnit code into tests compatible with Visual Studio 2005 Team System.

It is an early version - there is still much work to do. See the release notes for what is converted automatically and what you still need to do by hand.

I wrote this program in response to a lot of requests from people who are interested in evaluating Visual Studio 2005 Team System but really don't want to convert their existing code by hand.

There are bound to be issues in this release. Please use the bug tracking mechanism in the GotDotNet workspace to log your issues.

I will be releasing the source code in the future. If that is of interest to you please stay tuned.

The URL for the workspace is https://workspaces.gotdotnet.com/nunitaddons

Good point. I should have mentioned in the blog post that I did use the Guidance Automation Toolkit from the pattern & practices team. It makes integration with Visual Studio very easy and straightforward.

Has it been addressed why one wants to convert NUnit tests to VSTS tests? If NUnit is working and will still work in VSTS, why should the tests be converted? What benefits are gained from converting? What features are lost after the conversion?
