The Visual Studio Team Edition for Database Professionals RTM bits are available for download!

MSDN subscribers can find the bits by looking at their available subscription downloads.  MSDN provides the full image download of the standalone SKU which is 2.9GB in size (this contains Visual Studio 2005 Pro, MSDN and the Visual Studio Team Edition for Database Professionals add-on).

For existing users of Visual Studio 2005 Team Suite (full or trial) there is a separate much smaller add-on you can install. There is a self extracting EXE of just 7.8 MB and a 19.2 MB ISO image if you want to burn a CD. Check out the following download location.

    So there is a new VS Team Suite image that has one installer that installs everything? Does that image also have Team Explorer integrated right in?

    How does the installer work with the SP1 beta?  Should we uninstall the SP1 beta first and then re-apply or can it work on top of it? Thanks, Oren

    This is a solid V1 product that is going to save my team a lot of time and hassle managing our database schema(s).  You must have had a great team with some solid dev leads.  :)

    There will not be a new image of Visual Studio Team Suite that includes the Database Prfofessionals SKU, sorry. One of the limitations of shipping out of band. This does work with Visual Studio SP1 beta. -GertD
