Second: A Welcome

Hi...

Welcome, my new Lenovo X60 Tablet PC

Boy, I waited nearly 4 weeks now and some of my collegues already had such a machine. Man, they made no jokes: This machine really rocks.

It is small, lighweight, dual-cored and for now with 2 Gb RAM well equiped (I will add one more as soon as my manager does not watch me ;-)

I still have to add in certain things by hand because I am in the phase of discovering not installed things (yesterday I was wondering what kind of attachment a received. It took a second to realize what pdf stands for and that I have to install that reader first...same with some Live Writer Plug Ins...) But, it was about time to get rid of some "artifacts" of the last 4 months of trying and playing, too.

Man, the battery here stands for 4 hours full throttle working...it's like a jump in the new century.

X60, baby, we will have a good time... at least for the next two years or so. ;-)
