The expected version of the product was not found on the system

Today I have tried to install SP 1 for Arabic Language pack in environment which installed with SharePoint 2010 with SP 1 in one setup file (SlipStreamed)  so when I run the setup I got the following error:

“The expected version of the product was not found on the system”

Fix:

So to fix this problem I have tried what is mentioned in the below article which suggested to run the setup from command prompt as following:

C:\serverlanguagepack2010sp1-kb2460056-x64-fullfile-ar-sa.exe  PACKAGE.BYPASS.DETECTION.CHECK=1

    I had the problem with kb2459115 installation.. this thing helped to fix the issue "The expected version of the product was not found on the system".. Great ..thanx for sharing the info
