Floating-point number arithmetic
This miniseries on floating-point numbers will be divided into three parts:
- The basics, which will cover the definition and representation of floating-point numbers
- A simplified example that will show explicitly why floating-point is not associative
- Real-world examples and possible ways of reducing the risk of arithmetic anomalies
Since this miniseries uses LaTeX extensively I have decided to publish the series using Azure Websites. Happy reading!
