Windows Server System Evaluation DVD virtual machines problems!

Just as a quick notice to all of you who have a copy of the Windows Server System Evaluation DVD.

A Big ney HUGE apology to all but I understand that the virtual machines for 'Miami' and 'London' have expired..

We are currently working on the problem and hope to have this resolved very soon.

In the mean time there are Hands-on Virtual Labs and links to the downloads etc here:

I have ordered the Windows Server System(TM) Evaluation DVD but have not installed the evaluations yet.

I got an e-mail from MS saying that portions of the DVD will be non-accessible after a preset time - in fact MS says it will expire prematurely so they are sending a replacement DVD!

My question is this: Is this DVD's time limit governed by the evaluation software watching my PC's clock - Or is the DVD disc itself purposely manufactured to physically decay within a short time so it will become unreadable? (the same as those horrible "EZ-D" movie DVDs that decay 48 hours after opening)

This raises a question: are my other trial software discs I've ordered from MS and other companies made to decay so they be unreadable after a short time?

Anyone have info on this please e-mail me:
