Visual Studio and .NET Framework Developer Documentation Survey

The developer focused documentation on the .NET Framework and VS is some of the best in the industry, none the less, we have all complained about it from time to time.  Now is your time to talk back!  the User Education Team has posted  a survey where they are trying to find out a few things:

    1. Your offline vs online documentation usage
    2. Opinions on sample code in the documentation
    3. How multiple versions of the framework should be shown
    4. What sorts of documentation is more important than others

Here is the pitch:

Help us improve the developer documentation by taking the Visual Studio and .NET Framework Developer Documentation Survey https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=102169 . This survey will give us a better understanding of the type of applications you are developing, how you use help, and how we can improve it. The survey takes only 10 minutes, and we appreciate your feedback!

Silverlight 2 based MSDN here we come?  That could be faster / better than a speeding hxs. Shouldn't take too long given the right tools...

Brad- thanks for the documentation survey tip. I just added my 2 cents to the survey, which includes an emphatic request for an objective-centric code-behind reference, or "cookbook", for asp.net. A sample from such reference would be:

  • How to stop a user from creating a referential integrety db error when he/she attempts to delete a parent record that has children. (Then, the vb and c# solution)
