arccast - why user Experience matters

In my upcoming arcCast scheduled for November 28th at 9am, 12 noon and 4pm, I am going to be discussing the convergence of Desktop and Web technology stacks and User Experiences.

In order to frame this discussion I will put forth a simple framework for describing user experience. Using that framework, I will look at current and future technologies for producing user interface experiences on the desktop and in the browser.

The goal of this discussion is to give you a context for deciding what is the best tool for the job, the job being creating the best possible user experience given the constraint of the project.
