We have virtualized and deployed Adobe using App-V 5.0 SP2 and have Protected Mode disabled. We had a support ticket with Microsoft and we were told to enable Protected Mode as According Adobe’s article, the Protected Mode should be enabled, “Browser plug-in support in Protected Mode only”. Hence if Protected mode is disabled then we cannot print adobe within IE. We have managed to solve the printing issue by including a virtual key thus end result is IE takes a long time to open when user opens a favourite link if IE is not already opened. - Anonymous
