Microsoft Small Business Centre Web Site Promotes SBSC Partners

Last week I highlighted how Microsoft are helping to promote UK SBSC partners to small business customers through the use of the Microsoft Smart Business Customer newsletter. This week I wanted to point you where we are promoting UK SBSC partners on small business customer facing web site.

Microsoft have a Small Business Centre web site designed to help small businesses address their IT needs - whether they are new start ups or small businesses with growing IT requirements. As a running theme throughout the site, Microsoft consistently points customers towards our SBSC partner channel for purchasing and support. This is done through a "Find an IT expert" box which remains visible on almost every page, in a right hand menu.

As with the customer newsletter, customers are able to click on a link to understand what a Microsoft Small Business Specialist is and also locate an SBSC partner in their area through the Microsoft Partner Directory.

 

We are also able to track how many customers click to learn more about SBSC partners. For example, we know that since February 3063 unique customers have specifically clicked on the  "How to Buy" section and looked at "What is a Small Business Specialist?"!
