Knowledge Network enhances and helps the field speed renewals, sales and deployments of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 by adding the ability to search for who knows whom and who knows what in an organization. Users can quickly locate the right person — someone with specific expertise or someone who can introduce them to key people —inside or outside their company. Knowledge Network automates the discovery and sharing of previously undocumented information by harvesting key contacts and keywords from the e-mail exchanges of everyone in the network, and regularly updates the information to keep it relevant. Each member in the Knowledge Network controls which information they share with others in the network, so personal information stays private.
