WordML and FAQ resources
On the internal DLs and NGs, I am finding that some people are wondering where to get good info and tools for working with WordML. Here is a list of some resources. Please post feedback for things you think I should mention (only WordML resources, please):
Of course, you want to keep coming to the Office Developer Center on MSDN. I manage the site, and I can tell you that we are putting up more content than has EVER been produce for ANY Office release. The most essential thing is the Word XML Toolbox (see second link above). My article explains it in detail.

Also, and not least important by any stretch, my loyals friends at https://www.officezealot.com have been carrying the Office torch with unflagging courage for a long time. The OZ site is a truly great place to go for Office-related information, particularly for a "I don't work for Microsoft" perspective.
Rock thought for the day: The Cure have a new album coming out on June 22nd (or thereabouts). The new song "The end of the world" is as good as any song Smith et al. have ever produced. It is getting a load of airplay and deservedly so. This promises to be a great album.

Thanks. There were four of them that I missed. I had put them in a mail I had sent to some people asking about it, and I just thought I would pull them from the mail and paste them. I thought I caught all of them. Thanks for the heads-up!Anonymous

I have downloaded and installed the Word XML Toolbox - it works fine on my laptop but I can not get it to View on my desktop. Have VS.NET 2003 installed, reinstalled full install of Office 2003 Pro. Would assume I am not the only one.Anonymous

Check the security settings, that sort of thing. I have been able to get it to work on every computer I have tried it on.
Which .NET Framework version do you have? And, you are sure, sure, sure that the PIAs were installed?

I have also had problems - i can't get the word xml toolbox to work on either my tablet pc or my desktop. got .net 1.1 and all PIAs installed. what should I try next? I'm running XP SP2 RC2, would that make a difference?
