Windows SDK Samples
The stand-alone Platform Software Development Kit includes working samples that demonstrate several key technologies, including DirectX, Internet Information Services, Windows Installer, and the core SDK. The stand-alone Windows SDK is available on the Web at https://www.microsoft.com/msdownload/platformsdk/sdkupdate/.
Note
When building a sample application, first verify that the platform is set to your current platform in the Solution's Configuration property page. For example, you may need to change the platform from Itanium to Win32.
