IClientComponent::State Property

IClientComponent::State is a read-only property, in Configuration Manager, that defines the state of the component that can be installed, enabled, or disabled.

Parameters
pVal
Data type: EComponentStateQualifiers: [out, retval]
Pointer to one of the following values from the EComponentState enumeration:
Name Actual Value Description COMPONENT_STATE_INSTALLED
0
The component is currently installed.
COMPONENT_STATE_ENABLED
1
The component is currently enabled.
COMPONENT_STATE_DISABLED
2
The component is currently disabled.
Return Value
An HRESULT code. Possible values include, but are not limited to, the following:
- S_OK
The method succeeded.
