Gets or sets the total number of digits in a column that is defined as a numeric data type.

Property Value

An Integer that defines the total digits in a numeric data type.

Remarks

Precision is the number of digits in a number. For example, the number 123.45 has a precision of 5 and a scale of 2.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Microsoft Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
