Setup Issue: .NET Framework 4 Installation Is Incomplete

Either .NET Framework 4 RTW is not installed or an upgrade of .NET Framework 4 from RC to RTW is incomplete. This could result in an error in enabling non-HTTP activation.

To resolve this issue, install .NET Framework 4 RTW or repair the existing installation. To install .NET Framework 4 RTW, go to .NET Framework 4(https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=177666). To repair the existing installation, proceed as follows:

  1. Open the Control Panel, and then open the Programs and Features dialog box.

  2. Right-click Microsoft .NET Framework 4 Client Profile, and then click Uninstall/Change.

  3. Click Repair .NET Framework 4 Client Profile to its original state, and then click Next.

  4. After the repair has succeeded, click Finish.
