Vista and Leopard race to the line misses the point

iTWire misses the point - again:

"For Windows users, who happen to constitute 90% of desktop users on the planet, they will finally have a system that affords them a level of security that Mac users have enjoyed for many years."

You can't compare the two.Wait until the market share of the Mac OS grows. Then we're talking again. If Apple had 90% share of the market you would certainly see a few more so called "security problems."

    Of course the critics miss the point – that’s why they are critics. They need to incite conversation as opposed to foster conversation.

    The Mac is only a consumer product, while Windows is both a consumer AND enterprise product so it’s not a fare comparison.

    It’s like comparing Apples to . . . . well you get it!
