The Intel Software Network - the Intel way to connect with the (software) developer community has posted some pretty interesting stuff around threading and multi-core processors.

A few days ago Intel also published an article about the developer's new friend Virtualization. In the article "Virtualization: A Developer's Friend" Andrew Binstock shares some ideas how developer can take advantage of virtualization technology in their daily development, test and QA efforts.

In another article the same author describes the impact virtualization can have on the SDLC or Software Development Lifecycle.

Even though nothing really new in it, the articles are a nice summary.

Just realized that I have blogged about Binstock before.
