VHD Test Drive - New Image
VHD Test Drive has posted a new image for download on Microsoft Connect. This morning we uploaded an image with SQL Server 2005 and Exchange Server 2007 in one image. Partners have been asking for this particular virtual machine for quite some time.
In total we currently provide 5 different images that can be enhanced by ISV partners with own application and made available for test and evaluation purposes for free.
Here's a complete list of images:
- Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition
- Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition + SQL Server 2005 Enterprise Edition
- Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition + Internet Security and Acceleration Server 2006 Standard Edition
- Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition + Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 + Microsoft Office Live Communications Server 2005 with SP1 Standard Edition
- NEW: Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition + Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Enterprise Edition + Microsoft Exchange Server 2007

I've found that license with VHD images disallows converting it. So what about official W2K3 R2 images for Vmware and/or Parallels?Anonymous

James - we-re working on new images. A VHD with MOSS is amongst these images. While I was sure we would have shipped new VHDs by end of April, it looks like they are still about 2 weeks out.Anonymous
