More virtual applicances

Not from Microsoft. Not yet.

Parallels today announced the availability of their Parallels Technology Network or PTN.

Virtualization is a hot topic these days and will continue to be. Enabling all sorts of powerful scenarios, some not possible without virtualizing hardware resources. Virtual Applicances, allow users to install a feature or product in a matter of minutes rather than hours or days. Preinstalled and preconfigured these applicances can be used almost immediately after installation. Exciting opportunities for customers and for software companies alike.
