Разрешить пользователям без администратора устанавливать принтеры в macOS

По умолчанию установка принтеров в macOS требует, чтобы пользователи были администраторами. Этот параметр по умолчанию управляется параметрами /etc/cups/cupsd.conf политики и может быть изменен.

Если устройства пользователей управляются решением MDM, например Intune или jamf, можно использовать скрипт для обновления файла и удаления прав администратора из политики авторизации. См. пример скрипта ниже.

Instructions

  1. Обновите директиву в строке <Limit> 59, чтобы добавить CUPS-Add-Modify-Printer. Этот тег является группой доступа по умолчанию без Require предложения, поэтому это изменение позволяет любому пользователю устанавливать и удалять или изменять принтеры.
  2. Обновите директиву в строке <Limit> 75, чтобы удалить CUPS-Add-Modify-Printer. Для этой группы доступа требуются @SYSTEM разрешения, поэтому мы хотим удалить это требование.
