This method sets the maximum length for passwords that this password box can accept.
Syntax
virtual HRESULT STDMETHODCALLTYPE SetMaxLength(
__in int MaxLength
) = 0;
Parameters
- MaxLength
[in] An integer value that specifies the new maximum length, in characters, for passwords this password box can accept. A value of zero (0) means no limit.
Return Value
Returns an HRESULT that indicates success or no success.
Remarks
The value that you pass in MaxLength only restricts the length of a password entered manually by the user. It does not affect programmatic manipulation of the password value.
