IRTCSession2::ReInviteWithSessionDescription (Windows Embedded CE 6.0)

This method issues a REINVITE request with the session description attached.

Syntax

HRESULT ReInviteWithSessionDescription(
  BSTR bstrContentType,
  BSTR bstrSessionDescription,
  LONG_PTR lCookie
);

bstrContentType
[in] The content type for the session description of the REINVITE request.

bstrSessionDescription
[in] The session description included in the REINVITE request.

lCookie
[in] Pointer to an application-specific cookie, which can be used for pairing notifications with the information sent. The application should guarantee a unique value for this cookie.

This method can return an RTC_E_ constant.

The following table shows additional return values and additional information about a specific return value.

Value	Meaning
E_FAIL	Insufficient memory to perform this operation.
RTC_E_INVALID_SESSION_STATE	The session state is not valid.
RTC_E_MEDIA_ENABLED	The media stack is enabled.

The content type is application-specific.

The application should ensure that the called party can decipher the content type of the session description.
