There are different operating temperature requirements dependent on the anticipated environmental conditions. This object identifier describes the current PHY's operating temperature range capability.
The following list shows the currently defined values and their corresponding temperature:
- Type 1 = X'01'-Commercial range of 0 to 40 degrees C.
- Type 2 = X'02'-Industrial range of -30 to 70 degrees C.
