Remarks

This Web control is hosted within Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 on the policy resource administration page, and enables the server farm administrator to set server farm-level settings for this resource. This URL must be server-relative.

If you do not specify a global custom settings control, administrators do not have the ability to overwrite or edit the default global data specified for the policy resource in the GlobalCustomData element, and therefore lack the ability to customize the policy resource at the administrator level.
