To install Internet Information Services 7.0
- Log on to the computer as a member of the Administrators group.
- In Server Manager, expand Roles and then click Add Roles.
- In the Add Roles Wizard, on the Before You Begin page, click Next.
- On the Select Server Roles page, select Web Server (IIS) and then click Next.
- On the Select Role Services page, make sure that each of the following items have been selected and then click Next:
- Static Content
- Default Document
- Directory Browsing
- HTTP Errors
- HTTP Redirection
- ASP.NET
- .NET Extensibility
- Internet Server API (ISAPI) Extensions
- ISAPI Filters
- HTTP Logging
- Logging Tools
- Request Monitor
- Tracing
- Basic Authentication
- Windows Authentication
- Request Filtering
- Static Content Compression
- IIS Management Console
- IIS Management Scripts and Tools
- IIS Management Compatibility
- IIS 6 Metabase Compatibility
- IIS 6 WMI Compatibility
- On the Confirm Installation Selections page, click Install.
- On the Installation Results page click Close to close the Add Roles Wizard.
