MSVidWebDVD.ButtonAtPosition Property

This topic applies to Windows XP Service Pack 1 or later.

The ButtonAtPosition property retrieves the number of the button at the specified coordinates without selecting or activating it.

Syntax

  VidWebDVD
  .ButtonAtPosition(
  xPos As Long,
  yPos As Long
) as Long

Parameters

xPos

Specifies the x-coordinate of the mouse pointer as an Integer.

yPos

Specifies the y-coordinate of the mouse pointer as an Integer.

Return Values

Returns a Long value specifying the button, if any, at the specified position.

Error Codes

If the property fails, Err.Number may be set to one of the following values.

Value Description
E_UNEXPECTED Unspecified error.
E_NO_IDVD2_PRESENT Unspecified internal error.
E_NO_DVD_VOLUME No DVD available.
E_REGION_CHANGE_FAIL The DVD has the wrong region code for this machine.

Remarks

This method returns 0 if no button is present at the given coordinates. The buttons checked by this method are the DVD's onscreen buttons, not the surrounding HTML page or form buttons.
