Remarks

It is the developer’s responsibility to serialize the customer object and place it in this var. This var is what is used to rehydrate the session’s customer object when it is called for.

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
