KnowledgeArticleViews entity messages and methods

The knowledge article views entity stores information about the number of times an article is viewed per day. The schema name for this entity is KnowledgeArticleViews. To view the entity metadata for your organization, install the Metadata Browser solution described in Browse the metadata for your organization. You can also view the metadata for an uncustomized organization in the Excel file called EntityMetadata.xlsx included in the top-level folder of the SDK download.
The following table describes the messages for this entity, which you use with the IOrganizationService.Execute method.

Creates a knowledge article views instance. You can also call the IOrganizationService.Create method. Note You can only create a single knowledge article views instance for a knowledge article for a given day. However, you can use the IncrementKnowledgeArticleViewCountRequest message to increment the view count in the record as required. |

Deletes a knowledge article views instance. You can also call the IOrganizationService.Delete method. |

Increments the view count of a knowledge article for a day. If there is no instance for a knowledge article for a day, this message creates an instance of the knowledge article views for the knowledge article with the specified view count. |
